I bought my Dozers after having owned a different style of sandals without closed toes. I was working for a veterinarian at the time as a veterinary technician. As you can imagine, I worked long hours on my feet in all kinds of slippery situations and I was often found running after dogs and cats that would have preferred that I not treat them. And these sandals were amazing!
I've owned 3 pairs of these and I'm still wearing my original pair I bought and wore everyday for a year. I love them to death. My first pair is a little worn around the edges, but they are still great for hiking, shopping, whatever. They've worn amazingly well and still have lots of tread even though I wear them primarily for walking on asphalt, concrete and the like.
I also had chronic back pain before I bought these which has all but disappeared. I can stand for 8+ hours and never have any backpain. They are also wonderful for those with awful balance, like myself. They are super grippy and I've never slipped in them.
