These shoes are perfect for someone who wants to safely walk outdoors in a cold winter climate. I use these to walk my dog every day in the winter and they work great on ice, I rarely slip and slide like I used to before I got these shoes. My only complaint is that no matter how much I searched, I could not find these shoes in women's sizes. I finally bought the mens size (two sizes below what I would wear in a women's size) and found that they still run just a bit big for women, but since I usually wear an extra pair of socks in the winter anyway, they are perfect!
