I bought this and 2 other LED flashlights and when I got them I took them into a dark room and turned them on. The other 2 LED lights were 3 watt flashlights that were 80 lumens. This is advertised as 5 watt and 100 lumens. Since a battery is 1.5 volts, and this took two AA's, I was wondering where they would stuff the circuitry to get it to 5 volts. Needless to say in the bathroom the other lights had the same light output. And oddly enough one of the flashlights is identical in almost every way to this one. Take a look for yourself Rayovac HighBeam Flashlight 3 Watt Luxeon LED Flashlight with Batteries. I suggest you save yourself the time and expense and buy that one (it even comes with an identical carrying pouch). Also it is 15 bucks cheaper...Get more detail about Smith and Wesson Luxeon Rebel 5 Watt Tactical Flashlight.
